Isabel Schmitz

Isabel Schmitz (she/her), soprano, graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Music, studying with Patrice Michaels, and is currently getting her Master’s in Voice at Chicago College of Performing Arts, studying with Rebecca Schorsch. She started teaching voice and piano as an undergraduate student through the University of Chicago's South Side Free Music Program, in addition to serving on its Board for her final two years of college. Isabel has performed with Consonance, City Lit Theater, Chicago Fringe Opera, the Savoyaires, and with the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company. She is also on the board of Great Lakes Operetta, which produces light opera concerts, shows, educational programming, and sing-alongs in the Chicago area.
