Join us for a new improvisation lab, open to all instruments! This lab is designed for students who are interested in learning how to improvise or further refine their skills. Improvisation can be an incredibly fun and collaborative experience, but it can also be daunting for those who just don't know where to begin. The goal of this course is to break down the fundamentals of improvisation into simple steps that can be clearly understood and followed by students of different abilities and experience levels. It is a great opportunity for students to develop their musical ear as they listen to and respond to one another and gain experience playing in a group setting. This session is drop-in for the summer, so come by any week you're available!
