Chris Hatcher

Christopher Hatcher (he/him), is a Baritone and California native with a BA in Vocal Performance. He has extensively studied vocal pedagogy and functionality and has been teaching for nearly a decade. Christopher has performed in a wide range of venues both domestically and internationally. Some of his favorite past productions include Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, Titanic, City of Angels, Urinetown, and Rent.

Though musical theatre has always been a passion, Christopher's musical roots lie in classical music. He has performed in productions of Die Fledermaus, Die Zauberflöte, Don Giovanni, La Bohème, La Canterina, and A Hand of Bridge.

Christopher’s teaching philosophy is centered around creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students can be themselves. He strives to ensure his students feel safe to challenge themselves and grow, both as artists and individuals. In doing so students will learn the fundamentals of singing focusing on technique, breath support, intonation, and body alignment.

When Christopher is not teaching he is practicing, hanging with his dogs, baking bread, gardening, and going to shows.
